HR & Retail Support Coordinator
We are on the lookout for someone who values people and culture, in this HR & Retail Support Coordinator role at Bed Bath & Beyond.
The role is Fixed Term to cover maternity leave for a 9-month period, with the successful candidate starting in October 2026 for 4-weeks of training and handover and finishing at the end of June 2027.
This is a Part-Time position based at our BBB Support Office in Manurewa, working a minimum of 25 hours per week on a Monday to Friday roster, with a degree of flexibility to set hours of work (e.g. 9:00am - 2:30pm weekdays).
As the HR & Retail Support Coordinator, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing recruitment applications and completing initial screening processes daily.
- Keeping new, existing and completed job opportunities up-to-date online.
- Running weekly recruitment screening reports and updating staff records accordingly.
- Compiling and generating content for our monthly internal newsletter.
- Processing rewards for staff on a monthly basis and at the EOY, in line with our Perks Policies.
- Assist with additional recruitment and administration processes as and when required.
- Create engaging content for learning and development through Redseed.
- Assist the wider Retail Team with ad hoc projects as and when required.
To succeed in this role, you will have the following skills and experience:
- Proficient with Outlook and Microsoft suite; Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience using Ready Workforce Recruitment software and Harmony Desktop is an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal is essential.
- Previous NZ retail experience, working in a team environment, with retail management experience being an advantage.
- Strong work ethic with a fundamental understanding of upholding professional behaviour surrounding personnel confidentiality and sensitive information.
- Self-motivated with exceptional time management skills, and the ability to work well under pressure, prioritising workloads and consistently meeting deadlines.
