As the Webstore Second-in-Charge of the Webstore, you will support the overall operations of the website department and assist the Webstore Manager in managing daily activities. You will be to provide five-star service to our customers by ensuring prompt and accurate order fulfilment, addressing inquiries professionally, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Your commitment to excellence will help create a positive shopping experience and foster customer loyalty.
This is a FULL-TIME role working minimum of 40 hours per week, Sunday-Thursday roster:
- Monday: 07.30 – 16.00
- Tuesday: 07.30 – 16.00
- Wednesday: 07.30 – 16.00
- Thursday: 07.30 – 16.00
- Sunday: 07.30 – 16.00
Includes a requirement to work at least one Saturday shift monthly.
The Webstore 2IC will primarily be responsible for the following tasks:
- Assist the DC Webstore Manager in overseeing daily warehouse and dispatch operations.
- Ensure timely and accurate order picking, packing, and dispatch.
- Help manage workflow prioritization during peak periods.
- Supervise and motivate team members to meet KPIs.
- Train new staff and support team development.
- Step in as acting Manager when the DC Webstore Manager is unavailable.
- Ensure all online orders are processed correctly and efficiently.
- Maintain high standards of packaging and dispatch accuracy.
- Assist with resolving customer order issues (e.g., missing/damaged stock).
- Be available to work additional hours or days as needed—especially during peak times, staff shortages, or urgent situations.
- Great attention to detail. Ensure order details, labels, packaging, and product conditions are always correct.
To succeed in this role, you need to possess the following qualities and skills:
- Ideally 1- 2 years warehouse/webstore experience, ideally in a retail environment
- Has strong organized, logical, and strategic thinking.
- Experience within a high-pressure, high-volume environment.
- Close attention to detail and accuracy.
- Dedication and commitment to the role.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal is a must.
- Self-motivation and the ability to work independently.
- Have full NZ working rights.
- Most importantly a fun and bubbly attitude!
